Conference STAINLESS STEEL DAY 2024 in Gdańsk

This year, Stainless Steel Day will actually span two days, featuring a rich program.

Day 1:

• Will the European industry survive? – A discussion with Przemysław Sztuczkowski, CEO of Cognor Holding, about the challenges facing the manufacturing sector on the Old Continent.

• Has the crisis passed, and what does the future hold? – A presentation by Ignacy Morawski, Chief Economist of "Puls Biznesu," about the opportunities and challenges for Polish industry, including the stainless steel sector.

• The development directions of the Polish stainless steel industry – A debate featuring, among others, Tadeusz Pająk and Piotr Paweł Orłowski, CEOs of Nova Trading and Nova Metale.

• The situation in various sectors of the stainless steel market and its business environment – A panel discussion with representatives from leading companies in the industry and related entities.

Day 2:

• Everything starts with people: how to build a strong team in a rapidly changing world – A lecture by Anna Syrek-Kosowska, Professor at AWSB, on how to create a company’s organizational culture to effectively motivate employees.

• Green stainless steel: will it be the future of the European industry? – Carlo Morettin, Global Head of Environment and Decarbonization at Aperam Group, and Jacek Zieliński, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Nicrometal, will discuss Europe’s green industrial transformation and its significance for the stainless steel sector.

• Stainless steels in modern energy (nuclear, offshore) – Andrzej Wołczyk, Vice President of Energy Market Observer, and Rafał Maniara, Technical Director and Development Manager at EthosEnergy Poland, will present unique applications of stainless steel.
