Camino Polaco Marathon - 24.07.2022
On July 24, 2022, Camino Polaco Marathon - a unique and intimate run. Honorary start in Szafarnia after a beautiful Chopin concert, and the finish line in the very center of Toruń at the New Town Square! The route of the marathon will lead along the Polish Way of the Saint James Trail. The limit of people is only 150 people! The entry fee is only PLN 50 (participation in the event is free for employees of Nova Trading and Nova Metale).

Subscriptions have already started and are available below. Each starter package will include, among others, start number and chip, commemorative sports T-shirt, bars, gifts from Sponsors, nutritional points on the route with water, isotonic drinks and bananas every 5 km, and a special medal and a hot meal at the finish line. Non-standard, attractive prizes will be waiting for the five fastest ladies and gentlemen.
At the starting point, for those interested, there will be a guided tour of the Chopin Center in Szafarnia. The finish line of the marathon was set in a special place in Torun, on the New Town Square. The atmosphere at the end of the marathon on stage will be ensured by Conrado Moreno, as well as by two music bands, ie "Ars Nova", the Old Instruments Group and Magda Anioł with the band. Runners will be able to see, among others an exhibition of photos about the Camino, which was borrowed from the Spanish Embassy. There will also be a speech about the Route of St. James by members of the Society of St. Jakub, as well as culinary specialties from the women involved in the Rural Housewives' Club. The event will be accompanied by an occasional fair. In addition to the run for children, inflatable castles and many other attractions for runners and their fans, residents of Toruń and visiting tourists will also be waiting for the youngest.
The honorary start of the marathon will take place on July 24, 2022 at 8:30 at the Chopin Center in Szafarnia, and the proper start at 9:00 at the Sports and Entertainment Hall at ul. Sosnowa 2A in Golub-Dobrzyń. The organizer provides transport from Toruń to Szafarnia and from Szafarnia to Golub Dobrzyń - details in the event regulations.
